I founded Remarkable, Inc. after becoming disillusioned with how students were being taught and measured, and with the motives of companies profiting from that system. These two trends have coevolved in ways that erode meaning, autonomy, and the humanity of education. I created Remarkable to challenge that evolution and to help leaders and organizations build cultures rooted in purpose, praxis, and people.

I consult with school districts, education companies, and mission-driven organizations on strategy, leadership development, ethical sales strategy, and system-level change. My work draws on philosophy, psychology, and organizational theory to create structures that are both effective and principled.

I also founded the Human Flourishing Foundation (HFF) to advance practices—grounded in both the sciences and the humanities—that increase well-being and agency at both personal and institutional levels. HFF draws on ancient, modern, and postmodern thought to provide a practical foundation for growth that is deeply human.

My work is grounded in philosophy as it was originally conceived: beginning in wonder and aimed at eudaimonia, or human flourishing. In a world increasingly defined by noise, cynicism, and reductive metrics, I strive to bring depth, clarity, and integrity to every endeavor. At the center of everything I do is a belief that we can do well and do good—that ethical, purpose-driven leadership is not only possible, but necessary.
